Position Overview
Everbilt Construction is hiring a dependable Level 2 Craftsman to join our residential construction team. This is a hands-on field position for someone with practical construction experience who can complete assigned work safely, follow project plans, and produce quality results with limited supervision.
The Level 2 Craftsman works under the direction of a Crew Lead or Project Manager and may assist in guiding less-experienced team members. This is a growth position with opportunities to advance into a senior craftsman or crew leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential construction, remodeling, and exterior renovation work
- Complete assigned tasks according to the scope of work and Crew Lead instructions
- Read basic plans, measurements, cut lists, and project documentation
- Measure, cut, assemble, install, and finish building materials accurately
- Assist with framing, siding, roofing, decking, trim, doors, windows, and related work
- Identify jobsite concerns and communicate them before proceeding
- Maintain quality standards and correct deficiencies when identified
- Use company tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Help organize materials, tools, and work areas
- Maintain a clean and professional jobsite
- Assist in training and supporting entry-level employees when assigned
- Accurately track time and follow company reporting procedures
- Represent Everbilt professionally around clients, vendors, and other team members
- Follow company safety procedures and the Everbilt Management System
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of residential construction or remodeling experience preferred
- Working knowledge of common construction tools, materials, and methods
- Ability to perform accurate measurements, cuts, fastening, and installations
- Ability to understand written and verbal work instructions
- Ability to work independently on familiar tasks
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials
- Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated areas
- Willingness to learn new systems and accept coaching
Experience with framing, siding, roofing, decks, porches, exterior trim, doors, or windows is especially valuable.

Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay of $18–$25 per hour
- Starting rate determined by experience, skill level, reliability, and practical ability

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
- Occasional overtime may be available or required
- Projects are generally located throughout Blairsville, Hiawassee, Blue Ridge, Murphy, and surrounding areas
