Job description:

With multiple locations open on the West Coast, Seoul Meat Co. We are a beloved destination for those seeking an authentic Korean American BBQ experience. Our success is driven by our dedicated team, who are passionate about the culinary arts and providing exceptional experiences to our guests. We’re searching for a skilled server who can bring expertise and enthusiasm to our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly greeting them, taking orders, and serving food and beverages.
Educate guests on the Korean BBQ dining experience, guiding them through the menu, and the process of cooking raw proteins at their table.
Ensure all guests have a safe, enjoyable, and authentic dining experience.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Assist guests with any questions or requests, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is memorable.
Manage multiple tables efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
Process payments and provide accurate change as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bussers, and food runners to ensure seamless service

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a restaurant setting, with a preference for experience in Korean BBQ or similar dining concepts.
Strong knowledge or willingness to learn about Korean cuisine and the unique aspects of Korean BBQ dining concept.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
Positive attitude, with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple tables simultaneously, remaining calm and composed under pressure, and consistently delivering attentive, high-quality customer service
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Acquire a Food Handlers Permit and Alcohol Serving Certificate within 30 days of hire if not already in possession.
