Full Job Description

Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities

Primary

Accurpress press brake set up and operation.

Secondary

Hardware Insertion
Basic Mill/Drill Press Operation

Qualifications

Operator capable of performing skilled work in set up and operation of an Acurpress press brake used to form sheet metal to precision tolerances.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings or fabrication prints as needed for accurate and safe brake operation.
Must understand and calculate bend deduction allowances as required to properly and safely set up brake.
Applicant must be able to follow work order directions and safely produce required quantity of parts efficiently and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality.
Must understand how to fill out and use simple SPC reports as directed.
Must perform light level daily maintenance on brake.
Experience with PEM insertion a plus
Experience running a manual mill / drill press a plus.
