Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Specialist (PART-TIME) to energize our brand presence through engaging in-person events and promotional activities. In this role, you will be the face of our community, providing residents with courteous customer service in person or over the phone. Strives to understand and fulfill the customer's needs, where feasible.
In this role your responsibilities will include welcoming all customers, providing various forms of information, event ticket sales, cash handling/balancing, using a variety of communication skills including web-based tools while demonstrating the associated proficiency in typing and grammar. All duties are accomplished with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.

Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute engaging in-person events to promote products and services effectively.
- Manage social media channels by sharing event updates, live coverage, and post-event content to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collect data during events to analyze customer preferences, feedback, and overall effectiveness of promotional activities.
- Demonstrate products through interactive demos to educate customers and encourage product adoption.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional in-person service, answering questions, and handling objections confidently.
- Promote brand awareness by representing the company professionally at various venues and ensuring consistent branding across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event strategies that align with overall branding goals and target audiences.
- Assists with execution of various Lifestyle events including setup and clean up as assigned or directed by Event Leads/Supervisor/Managers.
- Responds to resident, visitor, and vendor requests and concerns with prompt friendly professional service.
- Responsible for additional setup needs (i.e. ticket area, bar, ice, etc)
- Performs accurate monetary transactions in a quick, efficient manner. Maintain money drawer
- Nightly reconciliation and reporting
- Provides exceptional customer service to all residents, visitors, vendors, and associates at all times.
- Sells or distributes event tickets
- Executing entertainment riders
Physical Requirements
- Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
- Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
- Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
- Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 40 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
- This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, to an outdoors setting with variable climate and lighting.
- Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
- Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
- Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or retail environments is highly preferred for understanding customer needs and delivering excellent service.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, confidently, and persuasively; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proven experience in social media management or digital content sharing related to events or promotions.
- Knowledge of retail store product details and technical proficiency with digital tools for data collection and reporting.
- Ability to handle sales objections professionally while maintaining positive customer interactions.
- Skilled in public speaking and presenting product demos confidently before diverse audiences.
- Experience in event marketing or promoting products through direct customer engagement is advantageous.
