Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist / Insurance Verification / Treatment Coordinator to join our team on Friday and Saturdays 8:00am-5:00 pm. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks efficiently, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, medical administrative support experience, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered environment while developing your career in healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

Greet patients professionally and courteously upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Verify insurance coverage accurately
Schedule appointments efficiently utilizing medical scheduling software and maintain accurate clinic calendars.
Review patient documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage medical records and ensure proper filing, documentation review, and data entry within EMR systems like Meditech or Dentrix.
Provide exceptional patient service through clear communication, phone etiquette, and resolving inquiries promptly.
Support the clinic’s administrative functions by handling multi-line phone systems, typing reports, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure seamless patient flow.
Maintain confidentiality of health information in accordance with HIPAA standards while managing sensitive data.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is required, preferably within dental or outpatient clinics.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such Eaglesoft is essential.
Familiarity with insurance verification processes, medical billing, and claims submission is necessary.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency are required.
