Full Job Description

A premier boutique law firm with offices in Boca Raton and Delray Beach is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join our sophisticated Trusts & Estates practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with a strong academic background and technical tax knowledge who is interested in advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate planning, wealth preservation, and tax-efficient transfer strategies.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, client-focused, and eager to build a long-term practice serving affluent families through sophisticated legal and wealth planning solutions.

Responsibilities

Draft and implement sophisticated estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies.
Assist with business succession planning, charitable planning, and advanced wealth transfer techniques.
Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and financial professionals to develop comprehensive planning strategies.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients and their advisors.
Stay current on developments in estate, trust, and tax law.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with an outstanding academic record.
Graduate of a Top 50 U.S. law school strongly preferred.
LL.M. in Taxation preferred, or significant academic or professional concentration in tax law and estate planning.
Approximately 2–5 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estates, or tax planning.
Active membership in the Florida Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly).
Exceptional legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
A client-focused approach with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
Interest in expanding into sophisticated wealth management and holistic client advisory services.
Must be able to work onsite in our Boca Raton, Florida office.
