Job Description

Adelson Group is seeking an experienced Client Service Specialist to support advisors, deliver exceptional client service, and help drive the operational success of a top-performing independent wealth management practice of Ameriprise Financial.

This role combines client relationship management, financial planning support, new business processing, meeting preparation, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Deliver exceptional service and resolve client inquiries promptly and professionally.
Build strong client relationships through responsive and proactive communication.
Prepare client correspondence and maintain client files.
Process money movement requests.
Support general office operations and workflow management.

Advisor & Planning Support

Assist advisors with financial plan preparation.
Conduct investment research.
Support trading activities and client transactions.

Meeting Coordination & CRM Management

Prepare meeting agendas and related reports.
Document and summarize client meetings.
Maintain accurate Salesforce records.
Coordinate follow-up actions and client communications.

New Business Processing

Prepare and submit new account and insurance paperwork.
Obtain required signatures and documentation.
Monitor insurance applications and outstanding requirements.
Coordinate rollovers and account transfers.

Required Qualifications

College degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong client service background.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team-oriented with a process-driven mindset.
Strong proficiency with computers and business software applications.

Preferred Licenses

Candidates holding any of the following licenses are strongly preferred:

Series 7
State securities agent registration (S63 or S66)
State IAR registration (S65 or S66)
Life, Accident & Health Insurance License
