Job Summary
Central Lighting & Energy is seeking a Full-time Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Boerne, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and submitting a high volume of invoices for completed electrical service work into major retail customer portals. This position directly impacts our job costing and accounts receivable accuracy, so extreme attention to detail and a commitment to getting it right the first time are essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes pride in producing error-free work.

Job Duties

Download and review daily reports of completed and confirmed work orders from customer portals
Accurately copy and paste detailed line-item information — including labor hours, trip charges, equipment, materials, and sales tax — from QuickBooks invoices into customer billing templates
Perform thorough verification of totals and cross-check all entries for accuracy, duplicates, missing fields, or formatting issues before submission
Upload and submit invoices through customer portals and close completed tickets in our internal system
Provide occasional backup support to our Accounts Payable team during peak periods and month-end close

Job Skills

Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and self-verification of work
Proven 10-key speed of 10,000–12,000 keystrokes per hour
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
QuickBooks experience is preferred
Highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to consistently meet daily deadlines
Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain focus and accuracy while processing high volumes of data
Comfortable working in a repetitive, detail-oriented environment where precision matters
