Bilingual Front Office Specialist- Stone Ridge
Pay: $14–$16 depending on experience

The front desk drives the entire visit. At Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care, Front Office Specialists keep families informed, supported, and moving through the clinic with confidence, even when the lobby is full and emotions are high.
This role is not just about checking boxes. It’s about accuracy, communication, and showing up steady when parents are stressed and kids don’t feel well. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, compassionate, and able to stay calm while managing multiple priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first
- Manage patient check-in, insurance verification, and payments accurately
- Explain wait times, clinic processes, and next steps clearly and respectfully
- Answer phones and assist walk-in patients while managing multiple systems and priorities
- Document patient information thoroughly and accurately in the EMR
- Protect patient privacy and follow all applicable confidentiality requirements
- Work closely with clinical team members to keep patient flow moving efficiently
- Provide compassionate, professional customer service to children and their families
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming front desk area
- Help ensure families have a positive experience from check-in through checkout
What We Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and during busy clinic periods
- Ability to multitask while remaining professional and organized
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
When We Operate
Clinic Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule Expectations:
- Seasonal, full-time schedule
- Rotating weekends
- Flexible availability based on clinic needs
- Opportunity to travel to other Little Spurs clinics as needed
Nice to Have
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Pediatric or urgent care front desk experience
- Previous healthcare or medical office experience
- Experience working with children and families in a customer-facing environment

This is a fast-paced role. Some days are calm. Others move quickly. You may be balancing phones, walk-in families, insurance questions, payments, and clinical team needs all at once.
We train our team, support them during volume spikes, and expect reliability, accountability, and a commitment to excellent patient service in return.
You’ll work with families who may be worried or frustrated and children who may not be feeling their best. Staying calm, communicating clearly, and treating every family with patience and respect are essential to success in this role.
