Medicare Insurance Sales Agent

Paid Licensing and Training | Warm Leads | On-Site

Build a Career Helping People Make Confident Medicare Decisions

AMAC’s Medicare Advisory Service is growing, and we are looking for motivated, capable professionals who are ready to learn, perform, and build a long-term career in insurance sales.

As a Medicare Insurance Sales Agent, you will speak with Medicare-eligible individuals who have requested information or already have a relationship with AMAC. You will listen carefully, explain coverage options clearly, and help clients select plans that fit their healthcare needs and budget.

Previous insurance experience is welcome but not required. For qualified candidates, AMAC provides paid training, licensing support, and ongoing professional development. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to successfully complete training and licensing requirements.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

What You Will Do

Handle inbound calls and follow up with warm, company-provided leads.
Ask thoughtful questions to understand each client’s healthcare needs, priorities, and budget.
Clearly explain Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, and ancillary insurance options.
Guide qualified clients through the plan selection and enrollment process.
Contact existing clients to schedule annual coverage reviews and provide important enrollment reminders.
Maintain accurate and complete client records in company systems.
Process applications carefully and efficiently.
Meet established standards for productivity, quality, compliance, and client service.
Stay current on Medicare regulations, carrier requirements, and available products.
Provide patient, professional, and compassionate service during every interaction.

What You Bring

Strong verbal communication skills and a confident, professional phone presence.
The ability to listen carefully, explain detailed information clearly, and earn a client’s trust.
Solid reading comprehension, basic math skills, and attention to accuracy.
Comfort using multiple computer systems, web browsers, Microsoft Office applications, and customer relationship management software.
The ability to learn new information, retain detailed material, and apply it correctly.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A dependable work ethic and the ability to accept coaching and apply feedback.
Motivation to meet performance goals while maintaining high ethical and compliance standards.
The ability to successfully complete required skills assessments, training, and licensing examinations.
Availability to work extended hours and weekends during Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 through December 7.

An active health insurance license and previous insurance, sales, call-center, or customer-service experience are preferred but not required.

Schedule

Full-time, on-site position
Monday through Friday
Approximately 35 hours per week during most of the year
Extended hours and weekend availability required during the Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 through December 7

Candidates should understand that the Annual Enrollment Period is our busiest season and requires increased schedule flexibility.
