NextStep Recreational provides high-quality recreational and athletic facility equipment and solutions for schools, municipalities, parks, and community organizations. Our product offerings include playground equipment, synthetic turf systems, bleachers, lockers, gymnasium equipment, and other specialized solutions designed to create safe, functional, and engaging recreational spaces.

Our team works closely with school districts, architects, facility directors, municipalities, and other project partners to guide projects from initial planning and product selection through proposals, purchasing, and installation coordination. We are committed to providing high-quality products, exceptional service, and well-coordinated solutions that help communities create spaces where people can play, compete, learn, and grow.

Role Description

The Office and Administrative Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Islandia, NY. This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting the company's day-to-day administrative and office operations while ensuring effective communication and organization across customers, vendors, project partners, and internal team members.

Key responsibilities include coordinating schedules and appointments, managing incoming calls and emails, following up with customers, conducting professional outbound and cold calls, coordinating social media activities, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting with proposals, quotes, and order processing. The Office and Administrative Coordinator will also utilize the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain accurate customer information, track communications and follow-ups, manage leads and opportunities, and support organized customer and project management.

The Office and Administrative Coordinator will also support payroll processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable, purchase orders and sales orders, vendor documentation, filing and recordkeeping, office equipment and supplies, and the preparation of basic reports. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized customer and project files and providing administrative and customer service support throughout recreational facility projects.

The Office and Administrative Coordinator will work closely with internal staff, customers, vendors, architects, municipalities, and other external partners to facilitate clear communication, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
