Full Job Description

The American Glass Company is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an integral part of our company, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth day-to-day operations within our office environment. Your primary duties will include handling administrative tasks, managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and providing support to our staff as needed.

Compensation:

$20 hourly

Responsibilities:

Perform general office duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for company executives and employees.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Greet and assist visitors to the office in a professional and courteous manner.
Support HR functions such as maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and assisting with onboarding procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient communication and workflow.
Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or in a related administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as as part of a team.
Prior experience in the glass industry or a manufacturing environment (preferred but not required).
