Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Assisted Living Administrator to lead and manage our senior care & hospice house. This role oversees operation of 2 facilities (10 & 14 beds) ensuring compliance with state and medical regulations, and fostering a warm, supportive environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, and experience in assisted living & End of life care . Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while leading a compassionate and efficient team.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operation of the assisted living facility, ensuring high-quality resident care and operational efficiency
Develop, implement, and oversee personalized care plans tailored to residents’ needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care
Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated team
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to assisted living and long-term care facilities
Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with legal and safety standards
Maintain accurate documentation for resident records, incident reports, and regulatory audits
Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation to support facility sustainability
Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and community partners

Requirements

Valid license as an Assisted Living Administrator or equivalent certification as mandated by state law
Proven experience in assisted living management or nursing home administration with a focus on senior care
Strong background in developing care plans and supervising staff in healthcare or community-based setting
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage day-to-day operations effectively
Familiarity with budgeting, financial management, and regulatory compliance within long-term care environments
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and team members
Hospice Experience
