As a CNC Machinist Operator (Level 1), you will:

Operate CNC machines to produce knife parts
Use common machinist tools to measure and inspect parts
Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensional and finish tolerances on parts
Measure and analyze production parts frequently to ensure quality
Maintain offsets for part & machine to Maintain quality and tolerances
Properly fill out required paperwork
Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
Perform non-Operator tasks when necessary
Manage material inventory and work orders in your area
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures
Adhere to standard work schedule and promptly communicate when time off is required
Perform daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning on equipment

Qualifications:

Familiarity with machine tools for drilling, milling, and grinding
Math skills and ability to understand geometry and decimal places
Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Organizational skills, time management, and strong work ethic
Communication skills and confidence in receiving feedback

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

Previous machining experience or machining technology education
NC-Code / G-Code Knowledge
Experience Operating CNC equipment (mills or lathes)

Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
Stand and walk for 10 hours a day.

Pre-employment checks:

The prospective candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
A background check may be conducted.

Work Schedule:

Machine shop shift: Four ten-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday with breaks and lunch.

Base Wage:

Our starting wage begins at $18-$24 per hour DOE for an Operator and increases depending on performance.
