Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care. This role involves providing high-quality care for pets in a kennel environment, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining cleanliness and organization within the facility.

Duties

Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising dogs.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks.
Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.

Requirements

Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred, including kennel experience or pet sitting.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of pets every day!
Must be able to work at least one day each weekend.
College students are welcome to apply. We try to accommodate college schedules as much as possible.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
