Job Description
The Lab Technologist position has the unique opportunity to support educational endeavors and instructional media and technology at the Skaggs Treasure Valley Anatomy & Physiology Laboratories (TVAPL) at the Idaho State University (ISU) Health Science Center in Meridian, ID.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
The TVAPL Lab Technologist position will work collaboratively with the IT/AV specialists in the ISU-Meridian Health Science Center and the ISU Central team to support the technology aspects of a vibrant professional laboratory facility that serves Southwest Idaho and the surrounding regions.
This includes support of technology-assisted student dissection laboratories for varied lab users from ISU and Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM), and other learners, the virtual anatomy lab, which includes 3D anatomy learning and teaching platforms, the Bioskills labs for professional continuing education, and other technology needs of a vibrant and growing laboratory complex.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution or a combination of at least six (6) years of relevant work experience or training
- Professional experience supporting Mac OS, iOS, Windows, and common office software and applications
- Experience with Crestron AV control systems
- Understanding of AV signal flow
- Ability to comply with all laboratory health, safety, and confidentiality guidelines
- Comfortable working in a human donor-based anatomy lab environment
- Experience working both independently and in a team
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional technology, communications or related
- Work experience in an anatomy laboratory and/or higher educational environment
- Experience with 3D educational software, 3D modeling software, 3D printing or related
- Familiar with AV control systems
- Experience with RFP process
- Experience with multimedia editing and/or videography
Additional Information

Salary will be between $65,000 and $69,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
