We're looking for a dependable, motivated Tile Setter Helper to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality workmanship, and want to learn a skilled trade, we'd love to meet you. Tile or construction experience is valuable, but no experience is necessary - we're willing to train the right person.
Position Summary
As a Tile Setter Helper, you'll work alongside our Lead Tile Setter to assist with tile installations and help keep projects organized, clean, and moving efficiently. You'll gain hands-on experience with tile preparation, installation techniques, tools, materials, and jobsite safety while helping deliver quality results for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with tile installations for floors, showers, backsplashes, fireplaces, and other residential projects.
· Prepare work areas and protect customer homes before installation begins.
· Stage, organize, load, unload, and transport tile, tools, and materials.
· Mix mortar, thinset, and grout according to project requirements.
· Measure, cut, and stage tile under the direction of the Lead Tile Setter.
· Assist with layout, setting, grouting, sealing, and finishing work as trained.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite throughout each project.
· Clean tools and equipment and help maintain installation supplies.
· Communicate clearly with the installation team and follow company procedures.
· Support the Lead Tile Setter in delivering quality workmanship and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
· Previous tile installation experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
· Comfort using hand and power tools is preferred but not required.
· Ability to read a tape measure.
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
· Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on responsibilities.
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
· Commitment to safe work practices and respect for customers' homes.
