About the Opportunity

A leading Idaho company is seeking an experienced Part-Time HR Advisor to provide practical, trusted HR guidance to managers and employees across a multi-site organization.

The role is not a traditional administrative HR position, and it is not intended to be a broad executive-level HR strategy role. The company is looking for a people-focused, relational HR professional who can help leaders navigate complex people issues with sound judgment, empathy, discretion, and clear documentation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys employee relations, manager coaching, conflict resolution, and helping organizations handle sensitive workplace matters well.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and leaders on employee relations matters
Coach managers through performance concerns, corrective action, disciplinary decisions, documentation, and difficult conversations
Support or conduct workplace investigations involving employee complaints, misconduct, harassment, retaliation, policy concerns, or other sensitive matters
Help leaders interpret and apply HR policies, employment practices, and documentation standards consistently and fairly
Partner with leadership to resolve workplace conflict and support healthy working relationships
Provide practical guidance around performance management, employee concerns, terminations, and risk-sensitive HR decisions
Help ensure employee relations matters are handled with professionalism, discretion, consistency, and appropriate follow-through
Support a positive, trust-based HR presence across a geographically distributed workforce

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in employee relations, HR advisory work, HR business partnering, HR management, or HR consulting
Demonstrated ability to coach managers through sensitive employee issues
Experience with investigations, employee complaints, corrective action, performance management, and documentation
Practical understanding of employment law, HR policy interpretation, and ethical HR decision-making
Strong interpersonal judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion
Ability to build trust with both managers and employees
Comfort operating in ambiguous or sensitive situations where good judgment matters
Clear, professional communication style
Ability to work independently while staying aligned with HR leadership

What This Role Is Not

This is not primarily a payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, onboarding, or administrative HR role. It is also not a high-level executive HR strategy role. The primary need is practical, relational employee relations support and manager advisory work.

Schedule and Compensation

The preferred structure is approximately 30 hours per week. Compensation is expected to be approximately $40–$45/hour, depending on experience and fit.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
