The role is responsible for a broad range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the company's understanding of market trends, consumer behaviors, and the competitive landscape . This role is critical for informing strategic decisions, product development, marketing strategies, and sales approaches.
Accountabilities:
- Market Trend Analysis:Detailed market analysis to identify trends,opportunities, and
- Category Strategy Development: Developing and implementing category management strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives to ensure that the category strategies are effectively executed.
- Data Management & Analytics: Utilizing various data sources, including retail sales data, consumer research,and market analysis,to generate actionable To be able to interpret complex data sets and translating them into clear, strategic recommendations for the business. - Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitoring the pertormance of the category, including sales pertormance,market share,and profitability. Leadership:Hire,cultivate and retain top talent with a cross functional lens.

- Insight Generation & Analysis of how brands come to life in-market and consumer behaviors, performance tracking, data strategy.

Partner with sales to develop programs and strengthen retail connections.
Shapes accounts' long-term focus on Flavor Category and maximizes the impact of MABI support within retailers by leveraging MABI cross-functional partners.

Decisions that compromise the integrity of relationships with retail partners.
Requests that detract from the team's focus on strategic planning and leadership. development.
Critical Relationships:
GILT including VP of CS&I,VP+level of Sales
National Accounts and/or key regional accounts off-premise sales teams and decision-makers at Retail Partners
Marketing, Shopper, and Consumer Insights
Alignment on MAB/Retailer Strategy
Understanding of Efficient Processes and Growth Accounts
Rapport Building to Optimize Strategy, Presence, & Pipeline
Skills Needed To Be Successful:
Preferably 8-10 years of proven category insights experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry,leveraging syndicated scan & household panel data platforms (Circana, Numerator).
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas) and other Third-Party software applications (Qlikview).
Strong data visualization skills in PowerPoint.
Strong presentation/communication skills (internally and externally).
Ability to effectively manage associates (motivate, coach, get the most from their talents, and help them along their career path).
Compensation:
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
