Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and process improvement to optimize our operations. Your analytical skills and proactive approach will help streamline our logistics, forecast demand accurately, and enhance overall efficiency across our supply chain network.

Duties

Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy in QuickBooks across both warehouse locations.
Analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock discrepancies.
Coordinate with warehouse managers on cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
Maintain up-to-date material flow records, including ETAs, inbound shipments, and in-transit updates.
Coordinate with overseas factory partners to track production schedules, order status, and shipping timelines.
Use Mandarin to ensure smooth communication with factory representatives.
Conduct demand forecasting based on historical data, sales trends, and upcoming projects.
Monitor supplier performance related to on-time delivery, defect rates, and responsiveness.
Analyze procurement and logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies.
Recommend inventory optimization strategies based on data modeling.
Identify and resolve potential backorder risks before they occur.
Implement and track minimum stock level requirements for key SKUs.
Collaborate with purchasing and operations to ensure timely replenishment.
Build and maintain Excel-based dashboards and reports on inventory health, supply chain KPIs, and purchasing trends.
Deliver weekly and monthly reports to senior leadership with actionable insights.
Track performance metrics and escalate risks based on lead time or inventory gaps.
Process Improvement & Compliance
Standardize supply chain processes across locations and vendors.
Support audits by maintaining accurate records of transactions, inventory movements, and controls.
Propose and document process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Act as the supply chain liaison between operations, purchasing, warehouse managers, and leadership.
Coordinate the communication of inventory status, backorders, and material delays.
Support cross-functional planning and capacity forecasting.

Skills

Master’s degree in business Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Research, or a closely related field required.
3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, inventory control, or procurement coordination.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, forecasting, and dashboard creation).
Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) to communicate with overseas factory teams.
Strong analytical and data modeling skills with attention to detail.
Experience with supply chain metrics, forecasting models, and supplier performance analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights to senior leadership.
Experience working with international suppliers or in global logistics is preferred.
