Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Respiratory Care Technician to provide exceptional care for our patients in the Respiratory Care Department — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
- Status: PRN
- Work Shift: Varies to work with school schedules
- Hours: Up to 4 hours per week
What Your Day Looks Like: The Respiratory Care Department sets a high standard for patient care and seeks to provide timely and quality respiratory therapies to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under medical supervision. Respiratory therapy services include oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, aerosol therapy, and diagnostic testing.
As a Respiratory Care Tech, you will be:
Performing patient care duties under the direction of licensed personnel
Assisting with patient assessments by collecting patient data and recording and reporting findings
Responding promptly to patient and staff requests for assistance
Assuring patient comfort measures are met by performing frequent rounding and anticipating patient needs
Giving and receiving patient reports in an accurate and timely manner
Qualifications
Education: Must be currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program with an accredited institution
Experience: No experience needed. We provide on-the-job training! CNA experience is preferred
Skills: Communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, teamwork
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consisting of walking/ standing
