Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Sonographer for our OB/GYN Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
- Status: PRN
- Work Shift: Days
- Hours: 20 hours every 2 weeks
What Your Day Looks Like: You will be preparing patients for exams, operating sonographic equipment, analyzing images, and collaborating with other healthcare providers and team members to provide caring, individualized treatment to our patients.
As a Sonographer, you will be:
- Interviewing patients to gather medical history
- Explaining the ultrasound process
- Ensuring physical and emotional comfort for patients during exams
- Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations appropriate to patients' ages and treatment plans
- Positioning patients during examinations to assure optimal imaging has been achieved; re-imaging as necessary
- Documenting findings and ensuring images are properly recorded
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program - RDMS certification (Abdomen, OBGYN, and RVT) preferred
- Experience: 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
- Licensure/Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending
