Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, managing insurance policies, and ensuring all service needs are handled with professionalism and accuracy. This will be a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
Assist clients with coverage questions, billing inquiries, and claims support
Take payments and process transactions accurately
Conduct follow-up calls for non-payment and assist with reinstatement when applicable
Provide proactive customer service, anticipating client needs and delivering solutions
Maintain accurate records in our agency management system
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience
Work with multiple carriers to ensure clients receive the best coverage and rates available
Perform other account management duties as needed in a fast-paced insurance environment

Preferred Experience & Skills

Experience with major carriers such as Mercury, Hartford, Travelers, Nationwide, Safeco, or Progressive is a plus
Familiarity with PL Rating, AgencyZoom, or similar platforms preferred, but not required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Positive, client-focused attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

Prior personal lines insurance experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Valid Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary: $40,000 – $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
