Join our early childhood education team as either an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or After school Teacher or Assistant!

All Staff - All staff must be able to pass a federal background check, be willing to complete pediatric first aid & CPR training, and participate in continuing education and training.

Teacher Duties
- Provide attentive, active, and engaging supervision for children in a specific age group
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans centered around storytelling that promotes childhood development, early learning skills, and social interaction.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Communicate regularly with colleges and parents about their children's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety by promptly reporting any concerns of abuse or neglect.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience that supports each child's unique needs and abilities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, nannying, or similar caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid training is highly preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior in young children.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations.
- Passion for nurturing children's growth through engaging activities that support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Assitant Duties
- Assist the lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Help guide children in developing social skills, sharing, and resolving conflicts.
- Monitor children during indoor/outdoor play, transitions, meals, and nap times to ensure maximum safety.
- Help children with basic hygiene, handwashing, bathroom assistance, and snack preparation/cleanup.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, track developmental milestones, and help communicate daily progress to parents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 to 50 lbs, as well as the stamina to remain active with children
