Position Overview
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a safe and positive patient experience.
Position Details
- Employment Type: PRN (as needed)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Department: Imaging
- Travel: None required
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None
- Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper selection of imaging parameters
- Guide patients through procedures with clear communication and compassionate care
- Monitor patient safety throughout imaging, including screening for MRI contraindications
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control standards are met
- Manage workflow efficiently to support timely patient care and diagnosis
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification – required
- Certification: Current CPR certification – required
- Experience: Minimum of six (6) months MRI clinical experience preferred

Employment Requirements
- Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)
