Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef/Line Cook, where your passion for food and leadership will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Your expertise in food production, team management, and culinary techniques will contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and creativity, maintaining high standards of presentation and flavor.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen activities.
Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and allergy considerations.
Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with customer preferences.
Lead catering and banquet food preparation for events, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes.

Skills

Proven experience in fine dining kitchens with a strong background in food preparation and culinary techniques.
Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations management.
Experience in catering, banquet service, and restaurant management is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, vendors, and management.
