Full Job Description

This position is a skilled trade machinist position with frequent set ups. Knowledge of technical drawings and ability to read/write code.

Must be able to pass drug test.

Must be willing to work 2nd shift

This position is responsible for fabricating replacement and new parts for custom built machinery. The following is a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job; education and experience outlines are ideal qualifications/assets but do not necessarily reflect the requirements of the position.

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

Machining

Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations, determine product dimensions and tolerances needed to fabricate products.
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.
Set up, adjust and machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as manual lathes, milling machines, turning center, boring mill, CNC mill, CNC lathe.
Ensure quality parts that adheres to technical drawings
Perform preventative maintenance on machines
Perform responsibilities in a safe manner

Medium Work: Lift 50 pounds maximum. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Unrestricted walking and standing.
