Full Job Description

Seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented, and creatively minded Marketing Specialist with a passion for marketing to join our market-leading fintech company's small-in-size but big-in-aspirations marketing department.

Financial Recovery Technologies has become a trusted partner to hedge funds, mutual funds, custodians, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investment firms, and our best-in-class people and technology have made FRT a market leader. As a Marketing Specialist, you'll work closely with our VP, Marketing across the full marketing mix — with a primary focus on email marketing and lead generation — to help increase brand awareness, generate new business leads, and, ultimately, drive sales. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to build hands-on experience across a variety of channels, with plenty of room to grow.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will:

Own the day-to-day of our email marketing and lead generation programs to increase prospect engagement and drive high-quality leads to our sales team

Assist in creating, managing, and optimizing email, drip, and nurture campaigns, including audience segmenting and personas
Support the development of lead nurturing plans for our highest-value leads
Learn and use tools like Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Lead Forensics to help execute campaigns and track their effectiveness

Help FRT stay a thought-leader in its industry by supporting and growing our social media presence

Create, curate, edit, and schedule content — including images, video, and text — that builds meaningful connections
Listen, respond, and engage with FRT's followers on LinkedIn

Contribute to a range of projects across the marketing department

Help keep the company website fresh by publishing new content, refreshing existing content, and flagging ways to improve navigation and visibility
Assist in producing marketing communications including brochures, exhibition-related projects, emails, and social posts
Help keep branding, advertising, and promotional collateral up to date

Our ideal candidate has:

A real passion for marketing and an eagerness to learn, demonstrated through generating ideas and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Engagement (Pardot), WordPress, HubSpot, or InDesign is a plus — but a willingness to learn them matters more
A can- and will-do attitude and a healthy dose of self-direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple, at times competing, deadlines
Intense attention to detail, maintaining both accuracy and consistency
An ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people
Some exposure to B2B marketing — through internships, coursework, or 1–3 years of experience — with a particular interest in email marketing and lead generation
An intellectually curious personality and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement
Of course, a desire to join a growing company with a vibrant, entrepreneurial culture

This position is based in our Medford, MA, headquarters. You must be comfortable commuting to the office 3 days per week.

Compensation: base salary is dependent on experience and can range from $70,000-$90,000 a year (based in MA). FRT also offers a competitive annual bonus.
