Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – SkinMD Laser and Cosmetic Group/ SkinergyMD
We are seeking an elite CEO with a proven history of building, scaling, and financially optimizing high-growth businesses. This is not a maintenance leadership role — we are looking for a visionary operator and financial strategist capable of taking a fast-growing medspa organization to the next level.

Position Summary:
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Skin MD/SkinergyMD, you will oversee all aspects of the business, ensuring efficient operation and strategic growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, managing finances, leading staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth, enhance the patient experience, and uphold Skin MD’s reputation for excellence in aesthetic services.
The CEO will lead all aspects of company growth, financial performance, operations, leadership development, and expansion strategy. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and financially sophisticated executive with a demonstrated track record of scaling multi-location businesses, improving EBITDA, building executive infrastructure, and driving significant enterprise value.
Prior medspa or medical aesthetics experience is strongly preferred. Experience leading founder-led, private equity-backed, or rapidly scaling healthcare/wellness organizations is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic growth and scaling of an 11-location medspa platform
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, cash flow optimization, and enterprise value creation
- Build scalable infrastructure, systems, and executive leadership processes to support expansion
· Oversee all financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, margin improvement, and operational efficiency. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control. Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and execute growth initiatives including new locations, acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion
· Create a high-performance culture centered around accountability, leadership, and measurable results. Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and professional development among staff.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class executive leadership team
- Establish sophisticated reporting, analytics, and performance management systems across the organization
· Optimize patient acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and overall patient experience. Maintain a strong focus on patient satisfaction, ensuring high-quality service and personalized care.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance across all locations
- Partner closely with ownership and investors on long-term strategic planning and scaling initiatives
· Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve company goals.
· Lead and manage all aspects of daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and patient service.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.
· Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to attract and retain clients. Oversee and manage the Director of marketing.
· Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
· Proven track record of entering and executing in new markets with an organization.
· Ability to partner and understands working with capital providers and lenders.
· Ability to execute M&A and de-novo growth strategies as well as orchestrating a successful exit strategy or partnership with a PE partner.
· Ability to develop corporate infrastructure designed to scale and achieve platform valuations.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven CEO, President, COO, or senior executive experience scaling multi-unit businesses
- Exceptional financial acumen with deep understanding of:
- EBITDA growth
- Cash flow management
- Multi-location financial operations
- Unit economics
- KPI-driven leadership
- Forecasting and scaling infrastructure
- Demonstrated track record of building and scaling companies through rapid growth phases
- Prior medspa, aesthetics, cosmetic healthcare, wellness, hospitality, or consumer healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing organizations with significant revenue growth and operational complexity
- Strong strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Proven ability to build high-performing leadership teams and scalable organizations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with disciplined operational leadership
- Experience in private equity-backed or founder-led growth environments is a major plus
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field; MBA preferred.
· Proven experience in a leadership role within the healthcare or aesthetics industry.
· Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
· Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the medical aesthetics field.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
· Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
· Creative thinker with a knack for innovation and problem-solving.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Passion for the beauty and wellness industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
· Strong marketing background with experience in digital marketing and social media marketing.
· Experience starting, scaling, and operating businesses through de novo and acquisitive growth.
