Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef

We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike.

We are seeking to hire a Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef.

$74,800 to $80,000 annually based on skills and experience.
Full-Time including Every Other Weekend.
Great Work/Life balance.

Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef Introduction: The Dietary Director is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of the dining program in accordance with State and Federal regulations, to promote nutritional care designed to assist residents in attaining or maintaining their highest practicable well-being.

Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in food service management.
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Servsafe certification required.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associates Degree in culinary arts and management or successful completion of a reputable course in food service operation, preferred.
A passion for helping seniors.
Must be able to operate standard food production equipment.
Must have solid PC skills: MS Office Suite and other office equipment.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, write and read English.

Dietary Director / Food Service Manager / Executive Chef Job Summary:

Provide nutrition services according to policies and procedures, and federal and state requirements.
Oversee the budget and purchasing of food and supplies, and the preparation, service, and storage of food.
Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, reward, discipline, and terminate employees in cooperation with human resources department as needed.
Develop work schedules to ensure adequate staff to cover each shift.
Maintain the food service department and equipment in clean, compliant and working condition.
