Overview

Licensed LICSW | LMHC | LMFT | PsyD

In-Person | Salem & Beverly, MA

Full-Time Pay Range (currently FFS model): $75,000–$95,000 annually

(Compensation based on experience and average number of sessions)

FT Caseload 22-26+ clients per week, primary need for Clinicians who enjoy working with children and adolescents, at this time, but ideal candidate can also comfortably work with adult clients

Scope and Function

The Artful Life Counseling Center & Studio with locations in Salem MA & Beverly MA is a local women-owned, community-based group practice offering a creative, relational alternative to the corporate mental health model. We engage in a variety of artistic modalities in our therapeutic process and we provide a wide variety of internal art, theater, dance, and movement opportunities for our clinicians to learn and grow their in their own practices.

Rooted on the North Shore, we are deeply invested in our clients, our clinicians, and the local communities we serve. We are seeking experienced Independently Licensed Clinicians who want to do meaningful clinical work within a supportive, collaborative, and values-driven team, without the grind of working in impersonal corporate settings or the isolation and endless unpaid critical activities involved in running a solo private practice.

This role is ideal for clinicians who value in-person, relationship-based therapy, appreciate working in a local women-owned group practice, and are seeking a sustainable alternative to self-employment or high-churn group therapy models.

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

Independently licensed in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD)- or those who already have the hours to sit for licensure before end of this year.
2-3+ years of clinical experience and ability to work independently with clients
Comfortable working with children and teens (primary need right now) along with adults.
Committed to in-person, relational, trauma-informed care
Aligned with a non-corporate, ethical, community-based approach to mental health care
Enjoy collaboration, consultation, and team-based practice
Interest in creative or expressive approaches welcomed (experience not required)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Clinical Work

Maintain a full-time caseload of approximately 22–26+ client sessions per week
Provide trauma-informed, relationship-based care to children, teens, and adults
Work primarily in person, with some telehealth flexibility as appropriate
Complete timely, ethical clinical documentation
Participate in weekly group supervision, consultation, and team meetings

You will not be responsible for billing, credentialing, marketing, or intake coordination—those systems are fully supported by our administrative team.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary-based compensation with transparent ranges ($75-95K based on caseload)
Bi-weekly pay and bonus opportunities, including retention bonuses and bonus for additional languages spoken
Paid administrative time for required meetings and trainings
