Home Health Care – Administrator / Chief Operating Officer

Quincy, Massachusetts

Growing home health care operation seeks interim or long-term Administrator / Chief Operating Officer to lead our business growth and compliance. The Administrator / Chief Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing and directing the patient care operations of the home care agency under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer.

Duties will be:

· Coordinates and completes assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company.

· Oversees the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care.

· Implements and maintains administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations.

· Enhances the profitability of the agency and engages with the team to assure the quality of services delivered.

· Manages third party billing vendors.

· Leads over 100 staff in delivering quality home

· Coordinates and completes assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company.

· Reviews company financials and advises leadership of monthly reporting package results.

Skills and Experience:

· 10 plus years of progressive experience working in a leadership role in a home health care agency

· Health care degree and experience as Physician, RN or Nurse Practitioner

· Must have experience leading a team of 100 +/- employees.

· Must be able to meet Federal, State and ACHC accreditation requirements

· Ability to implement Governing Body directives.

· Ensure that Agency employees qualified personnel and that all compliance requirements are in place.

· Ability to lead financial planning, including budgets, forecasts and P&L.

· Experience as a HIPAA Privacy Officer appreciated.

· Ensure the accuracy of public information materials.
