What You'll Be Doing
As our Senior Project Manager – Public Projects, you'll take ownership of complex public-sector surveying projects from proposal through final delivery.
You'll work closely with public agencies, engineers, internal survey teams and field crews to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading MassDOT, municipal and other public-sector surveying projects
- Managing scope, schedules, budgets and project delivery
- Building strong relationships with public-sector clients and stakeholders
- Providing technical leadership to office and field teams
- Ensuring compliance with agency requirements and QA/QC standards
- Mentoring project teams and helping develop future leaders
- Identifying project risks early and developing practical solutions
- Supporting operational planning and resource management

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced leader who combines technical excellence with strong communication and commercial awareness.
Required
- Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
- Minimum 10 years of surveying experience
- Extensive experience managing MassDOT and public-sector projects
- Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic and construction surveying
- Expert Civil 3D and CAD experience
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong project budgeting and scheduling experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or Engineering
- Experience mentoring project managers and survey staff
- Experience working with municipalities and government agencies throughout New England

Salary
$120,000–$140,000 annually
Plus:
- Signing Bonus (paid after completing 90 days of employment)
- Annual Performance Bonus

Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including experience, qualifications, education, licensure, technical expertise, demonstrated leadership, and internal equity.
