Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Administrator to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk, providing excellent patient service, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and professional phone etiquette. Experience with Athena Health and Epic Health systems is required to effectively manage electronic health records and streamline administrative workflows.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing inquiries appropriately.
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle appointment modifications as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records using Athena Health and Epic Health electronic health record systems.
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, faxing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
Assist with billing and insurance documentation processes when necessary.
Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and staff to ensure efficient operations.
Uphold confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Support administrative tasks to ensure the front desk operates smoothly throughout the day.

Experience

Proven clerical experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills essential for patient interactions.
Prior experience working with Athena Health and Epic Health systems is required to manage electronic health records effectively.
