Full Job Description

Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – IV Ketamine & Botox

SPS Healthcare is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient clinical team. This role is ideal for an RN with strong IV skills who is interested in working in a physician-supervised interventional psychiatry and wellness setting, with a primary focus on IV ketamine treatments and Botox-related services.

The RN will assist with IV ketamine treatments, patient monitoring, IV placement, injections, and Botox-related procedures under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician.

Responsibilities include:

Perform IV placement for IV ketamine treatments and other physician-ordered infusions

Monitor patients before, during, and after IV ketamine treatments, including vital signs and clinical status

Assist with patient preparation, treatment room setup, and post-treatment observation

Administer physician-ordered injections, including vitamin B12 when appropriate

Assist with Botox-related procedures under physician direction and supervision

Follow office protocols for ketamine treatment safety, medication administration, emergency response, and clinical documentation

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record

Communicate any patient concerns, side effects, or adverse symptoms promptly to the supervising physician

Maintain supplies, medications, and equipment in a safe and organized manner

Provide a calm, professional, and supportive patient experience

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing

Strong IV placement skills required

Experience with IV infusions, ketamine treatments, procedural nursing, emergency medicine, anesthesia, PACU, aesthetics, med spa, or outpatient psychiatry preferred

Comfortable monitoring patients receiving IV ketamine in an outpatient office setting

Interest or experience in Botox/aesthetic medicine preferred

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Excellent communication skills and professional bedside manner

Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow physician orders and clinical protocols

Schedule:

Part-time position

Weekday availability preferred

Flexible schedule based on office needs and patient volume

Potential for expanded hours as services grow

Work Setting:

Outpatient medical office

Physician-supervised care

Interventional psychiatry, IV ketamine treatment, wellness, and Botox-related services

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience
