In this role, you’ll perform all core wait staff duties while also providing day to day leadership and support to the dining service team. You’ll help ensure smooth meal service, model service standards, and serve as a resource for teammates—especially when a manager or supervisor is not present.‑

OUR INVESTMENT IN YOU
Pay Range: $18.40-$23.90 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: 34–40 hours per week, depending on availability, with shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:30 PM.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Deliver an Exceptional Dining Experience
- Perform all core Server duties, delivering courteous, timely, and accurate meal service
- Support residents with menu selections, preferences, and dietary considerations
- Monitor dining room flow, service pace, and presentation to ensure consistency
- Build familiarity with resident names and preferences to create a personalized experience
Provide Team Support & Leadership
- Serve as a visible, supportive resource for Servers during assigned shifts
- Provide day to day guidance and informal leadership in the absence of management
- Train and orient new team members on service standards and procedures
- Model professionalism, teamwork, and positive morale
- Assist with real-time problem solving during busy service periods
Support Operations, Safety & Quality
- Open and close the dining room when management coverage is not available
- Ensure side work, server tasks, and closing duties are completed accurately
- Monitor cleanliness, staff readiness, and dining room setup
- Adhere to and model food safety, sanitation, allergen, and infection control standards
- Support catering functions as needed and escalate concerns appropriately
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, guests, and team members
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow through
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and service standards
- Minimum of one year of experience in a restaurant or dining service setting
- Prior experience mentoring, training, or informally leading peers preferred
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
