Pay, Shift & Schedule

$22.80/hr
Full-time, onsite position
1st Shift, Mon-Fri
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. / 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About the Role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a full-time Sr. Inventory Coordinator in Boulder, Colorado. Through Unity Lab Services, this position supports inventory management, laboratory supply operations, and customer service activities using electronic inventory systems, RF scanners, and mobile scanning tools.

What You'll Do

Use handheld RF scanners and mobile applications to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing
Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store inventory, and maintain cycle counts to help ensure accurate inventory records
Respond to customer inquiries primarily through email, provide phone follow-up as needed, and assist internal partners with issue resolution
Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to identify and implement workflow improvements
Follow site safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify stock gaps or operational issues
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed independently at customer sites
Work areas may include exposure to chemical-based allergens such as penicillin and tetracycline
Personal protective equipment may include lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, gowning, and steel-toe shoes
Regularly lift 30 to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Use equipment such as pushcarts and forklifts to move loads up to 100 pounds
Frequently stand, walk, and perform manual material handling activities
Work may occur in varied temperature environments
Overtime may be required

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required
2-3 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience preferred
Experience using RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning applications
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills, particularly through email
Friendly, solution-focused customer service approach
Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail, accountability, and teamwork

Pay: $22.80 per hour
