Full Job Description

Staff Officer

Clearance: Active TS/SCI required; must be willing to undergo a CI Polygraph

Location: Denver, CO

Overall Assignment Description:
The candidate will provide office management, staff officer, visitor coordination, and administrative support to the NGA-D Front Office. This position requires the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and learn the responsibilities of multiple office personnel to provide coverage when team members are unavailable or additional assistance is needed. An existing team member currently supports the Denver location and will be available to provide support.

Duties:

· Coordinate internal site functions supporting working-level personnel, senior leaders, distinguished visitors, and major events.

· Develop and coordinate plans for Distinguished Visitor tours and special events.

· Manage, update, and revise visitor program Standard Operating Procedures, Operational Instructions, and related processes.

· Manage and maintain the documented visitor shadow program, which allows Aerospace Data Facility-Colorado personnel to shadow certain distinguished visitors and gain greater awareness of positions within the DoD.

· Collaborate with site mission partners, visitor program managers, and the site Distinguished Visitor Support team regarding daily visits, long-term planning, major events, governance documents, and visitor management tools.

· Manage all aspects of distinguished visitor tours of NGA-D spaces, the ADF-C facility, and associated missions.

· Coordinate briefings, agendas, tours, conference rooms, leadership updates, and potential photography or video opportunities for distinguished visitors and their supporting parties.

· Provide direct operational and administrative support to the NGA-D Front Office, including issuing parking passes, coordinating data transfer requests, conducting research, and supporting ad hoc projects.

· Track and manage internal and external taskers.

· Generate and update spreadsheets and SharePoint content, track deliverables, and ensure required forms comply with NGA/S guidance and policy.

· Submit and track equipment, facility, management, workflow, realignment, and reorganization matters to support consistent infrastructure management.

· Support physical space planning and ensure compliance with infrastructure management policies and procedures.

· Work with relevant stakeholders to develop project concept plans and design documents.

· Learn and provide coverage for multiple office functions based on staffing and mission needs.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

· 10+ years of relevant experience.

· Bachelor’s degree or additional 8 years of experience in lieu of degree.

· Experience conducting research, contributing to analytical or technical reports, and maintaining electronic and physical files.

· Experience creating and maintaining databases, summary data, and spreadsheets.

· Experience collaborating with multiple organizations to address office-level requirements.

· Strong written and verbal communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.

· Experience using standard business applications for presentations, word processing, and spreadsheets.

· Ability to organize, connect, and effectively present data.

· Experience briefing senior leadership on priority matters.

· Experience managing physical office space.

· Experience following space-planning and infrastructure-management policies and procedures.

· Experience using agency-level tasker systems.

· Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
