Eat 100 Foods is a personal chef and catering company specializing in customized, scratch-made meals using high-quality ingredients. We prepare weekly meals for private clients with a wide variety of dietary needs, as well as food for private parties, weddings, corporate events, and catering.

We are looking for an experienced chef with excellent culinary skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating exceptional food from scratch.

This is not a restaurant.

Every week brings different menus, different dietary needs, and different opportunities to cook great food.

About the Position

This position supports two primary areas of Eat 100 Foods:

Customized Personal Chef Meal Preparation
Private & Corporate Catering

Every week is different.

You may be preparing customized meals for clients with multiple dietary restrictions, producing several different entrées and sides simultaneously, or preparing beautifully presented food for a catered event.

We're looking for a chef who enjoys variety, can move efficiently between recipes and dietary modifications, and understands that consistency comes from organization and precision.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

Professional culinary experience; fine dining experience strongly preferred
Excellent knife skills
Strong scratch-cooking skills
Knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
Ability to follow recipes accurately while also cooking confidently without relying on recipes
Ability to execute multiple recipes and customized meals simultaneously
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and professional

We're looking for someone who naturally double-checks their work and understands the importance of preparing each client's food according to their individual specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality, scratch-made meals
Execute weekly personal chef menus
Prepare food for private and corporate catering
Follow individual client dietary specifications accurately
Modify recipes appropriately for dietary restrictions
Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation
Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness
Assist with ingredient preparation and kitchen organization
Create and organize weekly grocery shopping lists based on menus and production needs
Order groceries and ingredients for weekly meal preparation and catering
Receive, check, and properly store grocery orders
Maintain accurate inventory of food, pantry items, supplies, and packaging
Monitor inventory levels and identify items that need to be reordered
Follow FIFO practices and help minimize food waste
Maintain proper portion consistency
Perform quality control before meals leave the kitchen
Assist with catering and other culinary responsibilities as needed
Contribute to a positive, organized, team-oriented kitchen

Schedule

Part-Time to Start

Sunday, Monday & Wednesday

Primarily daytime hours.

This position will begin part-time with the opportunity to grow into additional hours as the business continues to grow.

Some catering events may require occasional additional days or hours with advance notice.
