About Colorado Therapy Collective
Colorado Therapy Collective (CTC) is a collaborative community of skillful and caring therapists. CTC is an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) based group practice with therapists who have advanced training and certifications in this attachment-based, relational therapy model. We work with adult individuals, couples, and families to improve their relationships with themselves, their partners, and loved ones. CTC therapists specialize in couples therapy, infidelity and affair recovery, relationship/couples therapy for individuals, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and substance abuse. We are an entirely private pay group practice, and are not in-network with insurance companies. We are based in Denver, CO and also work with clients in Greater Colorado via telehealth.
Job Summary
Colorado Therapy Collective is seeking a full-time licensed or pre-licensed therapist to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about attachment-based, relational therapy and want to deepen their expertise in working with adults, couples, and families within a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented practice.
As an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)-based group practice specializing in couples therapy, we currently prioritize independently licensed clinicians and applicants who have completed the EFT Externship. We also welcome pre-licensed applicants who meet the qualifications outlined below and are committed to advancing their EFT training. All clinicians are expected to pursue continued development through advanced training, supervision, and consultation and to use EFT as the primary model guiding their clinical work.

For Licensed Clinicians
Licensed clinicians can expect to build a strong caseload with a substantial focus on couples, supported by a consistent referral stream in a high-demand, private-pay setting. CTC offers strong earning potential, and advanced EFT-focused consultation for therapists seeking to develop greater expertise in couples therapy. Licensed clinicians are expected to practice with autonomy while adhering to CTC’s clinical, ethical, documentation, and operational standards.
For Pre-Licensed Clinicians
Pre-licensed clinicians receive structured support toward licensure through consistent supervision, consultation, and complimentary EFT-focused training resources. This role offers opportunities to build a sustainable caseload, accrue licensure hours, and strengthen clinical and professional skills with individuals and couples. Clinicians are expected to engage actively in supervision, apply feedback, and develop greater independence over time.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, EFT-based psychotherapy to adult individuals, couples and other relationship configurations, and families while building strong therapeutic alliances.
- Conduct prospective-client consultations to assess clinical fit and level-of-care needs, coordinating referrals to specialized services or higher levels of care when indicated.
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments using intake documentation, initial sessions, and other appropriate assessment tools.
- Collaboratively develop, implement, monitor, and update treatment plans based on clients’ needs and progress.
- Coordinate care and seek consultation proactively when clinical, ethical, risk-management, or scope-of-practice concerns arise.
- Manage client communication and scheduling accurately, responsively, and with appropriate attention to continuity of care.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and consistently adhere to CTC’s clinical and operational policies.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of client information and records.
- Manage payment-related and all administrative responsibilities accurately and promptly.
- Actively participate in on-going required supervision, team meetings, and quarterly performance reviews.
- Respond constructively to clinical, supervisory, and organizational feedback and complete agreed-upon follow-up within established timelines.
- Proactive communication with administrative and clinical leadership regarding clinical concerns, or barriers to follow-through and participate responsibly in corrective action or repair.
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to developing EFT competency and integrating EFT as the primary model guiding clinical work.
- Actively use supervision, consultation, deliberate practice, and available team resources to strengthen clinical effectiveness.
- Contribute to CTC’s collaborative culture by cultivating supportive peer relationships and participating, when possible, in optional learning and community-building opportunities, including monthly deliberate practice groups and quarterly social events.
Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements to be considered:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or completed before the start of employment.
- Valid Colorado clinical license or candidate registration as an LPC, LPCC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or MFTC before the start of employment.
- Maintain all licenses, registrations, certifications, and professional requirements applicable to the position throughout employment.
- At least one year of experience providing couples or relationship therapy.
- Strong clinical judgment and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload, including clinical documentation, client communication, scheduling, payment processing, and other administrative responsibilities accurately and within established deadlines.
- Work independently while communicating openly, seeking consultation when needed, and remaining accountable to supervisors and the broader team.
- Receive and apply clinical and professional feedback, reflect on one’s work, acknowledge mistakes, and make timely adjustments.
- Commitment to continued EFT development through supervision, consultation, and advanced training.
- Commitment to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care.
- Availability to work at least three evenings per week until 8pm. Weekend availability may substitute for some evening availability.
Priority consideration may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:
- Independent Colorado clinical licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or licensed psychologist.
- Two or more years of experience providing diagnostic assessment and psychotherapy to adults.
- Two or more years of experience providing couples or relationship therapy.
- Completion of an EFT Externship before the start of employment.
- Advanced EFT training beyond the Externship, such as Core Skills completion, ongoing EFT supervision, or EFT certification.
- Experience working successfully in a structured, collaborative group-practice environment.
- Demonstrated ongoing personal and professional development.

Income Summary
Compensation: Schedule and income that grows with your caseload
- The estimated annual income for a Licensed Therapist working 20-25 client hours/week is $96,000-$174,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation/year. Overall estimated annual income inclusive of compensation and benefits is $$111,000-$179,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation.
- The estimated annual income for a Post-graduate, Pre-licensure Therapist working 20-25 client hours/week is $59,000-$112,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation/year. Overall estimated annual income inclusive of compensation and benefits is $74,000-$120,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation.
