ABOUT BLUE MOON

Blue Moon is a local, family-owned business specializing in portable restroom rentals, restroom trailers, handwashing and sanitizing stations, temporary construction fencing, roll-off dumpsters, and residential/commercial trash collection. We take pride in delivering dependable service to our community through professionalism, responsiveness, and excellent customer service.

POSITION: BILLING & ROUTING COORDINATOR - PORTABLE RESTROOM DIVISION

Blue Moon is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented team member to support our Portable Restroom Division. This position combines billing, customer service, phone support, collections assistance, and route coordination responsibilities to help ensure efficient daily operations.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, and able to communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and coworkers.

SCHEDULE

Full-time
40 hours per week
No overtime expected

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, process, and review invoices for portable restroom services

Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system
Assist customers with billing questions, payments, service requests, and scheduling
Coordinate and route portable restroom deliveries, pickups, and service schedules
Create and manage work orders and service requests
Communicate with drivers regarding route changes and customer needs
Post payments and assist with collections on past-due accounts
Maintain organized customer records and filing systems
Collaborate with operations and management to resolve service issues
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of office administration, billing, dispatching, customer service, or related experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems required
Experience with routing software, billing platforms, QuickBooks, or waste/construction industry software preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain productive in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Invoices are accurate and completed on time
Customers receive friendly, professional service
Routes are organized and communicated clearly to drivers
Billing questions and service issues are resolved efficiently
Customer accounts and records remain accurate and up to date
The office operates smoothly while managing changing priorities

COMPENSATION

Salary is based on experience and education.
