By joining our Warren County Equipment Unit 212 as a Transportation Auto/Truck Technician Assistant in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to learn to maintain District wide equipment, including Trackhoes, dump trucks, loaders, pumps, and other highway equipment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Change oil and hydraulics fluids,
- Learn to search for electrical problems,
- Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations,
- Learn Computer monitoring of equipment.
- How to work on small equipment
Ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Computer skills
- Mechanical skills
- Understanding importance of safety and willingness to promote safe work environments

Additional position information: (travel required, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, sitting at a desk, etc.)
Required to possess a valid driver's license, some travel will be required for training. Be able to work, sit, stoop, and bend. Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, and be able to respond to emergencies.
