Job Description:
The School of Nursing and Allied Health is seeking candidates for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (9-month) position for the BSN Program with an August 17, 2026, start date. Qualified applicants have expertise in adult and/or pediatric Medical Surgical Nursing.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing.

Maintain active, unencumbered Kentucky or compact state RN and/or APRN licensure, and meet any additional requirements as required by clinical agencies (which may include but is not limited to: Immunizations, titers, liability insurance, CPR, TB screening, and annual influenza vaccination). The cost of meeting the clinical agency requirements is at the expense of the faculty.

Minimum of two-years of acute care medical surgical nursing practice within the last five years (or) recent medical surgical clinical teaching experience. Candidates must be able to teach in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings as assigned.
