Come Grow With MonArk ABA
Are you looking for a career where you can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child while building valuable professional skills?
At MonArk ABA, our Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work directly with children with autism to help them build communication, social, play, independence, and daily living skills.
No previous ABA experience or RBT certification is required to apply. MonArk provides the training, hands-on practice, and support needed to begin your career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
Already an RBT? We would love to talk with you too! Applicants who already hold an active RBT credential start at a minimum of $17.68 per hour.
Pay & Paid TrainingNew Behavior Technicians
New BTs begin at $16.00 per hour while completing MonArk's initial training program.
Our training combines education, hands-on practice, modeling, coaching, and competency development so you are prepared before independently providing services to clients.
Upon successful completion of initial training, your pay increases to $17.00 per hour. Training is expected to be completed within your first 30 days of employment.
After training, you will continue receiving coaching and supervision while working directly 1:1 with clients and progressing toward your RBT credential.
Current Registered Behavior Technicians
If you already hold an active RBT credential, you will not start at the $16.00 training rate.
Current RBTs begin at a minimum of $17.68 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to $23.00 per hour based on experience, demonstrated competency, and advancement within MonArk.
What Is an RBT?
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works directly with clients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis services under the ongoing supervision of a qualified behavior analyst, typically a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
As a BT or RBT, you are one of the team members who spends the most time directly supporting the child.
You may spend your day:
- Teaching a child how to communicate what they want or need
- Building social and play skills
- Teaching independence and daily living skills
- Helping children learn to tolerate waiting, transitions, changes, and new experiences
- Teaching new skills through play, structured activities, and everyday routines
- Collecting data to measure progress
- Following individualized treatment and behavior support plans
- Supporting clients through challenging behaviors while maintaining safety
- Collaborating with your BCBA and other therapy professionals
- Receiving coaching, feedback, and ongoing supervision
- Celebrating progress—both big and small
You are not expected to develop treatment plans independently. Your BCBA and clinical team develop and oversee treatment while teaching, coaching, and supporting you in implementing services successfully.
The MonArk Model
At MonArk, we believe children benefit most when their therapy team works together.
Our collaborative model brings together RBTs, BCBAs, speech-language professionals, occupational therapy professionals, and other members of the treatment team.
Instead of therapies operating separately, our team has opportunities to collaborate, learn from one another, and help children practice important skills throughout their day.
As a BT or RBT, you may receive coaching from speech or occupational therapy professionals, work closely with your BCBA, and help carry important communication, social, behavioral, and independence skills across different activities.
You are an important part of the treatment team.
