Full Job Description

Case Manager Job Summary

Heidari Law Group is boutique litigation Personal Injury Law Firm with ten attorneys and 40 staff in Las Vegas and Los Angeles looking for one full time experienced Pre-litigation Case Manager and Legal Secretary in its Los Angeles office and one in Las Vegas office.

Candidate must know how to handle all aspects of personal injury claims from beginning until the end, including, but not limited to, initial client contact and updating case status, taking phone intakes, medical records requests, scheduling medical appointments, resolving property damage claims, loss of use, reporting claims to Medi-Cal and Medicare for lien resolution, preparing files for demand, and quality client care. knowledge of litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties

Scheduling property damage inspections/ finalize Property Damage settlements;
Handleing the Property damages
Monitoring client's medical treatment;
Scheduling client's medical appointments;
Must be able to determine when a file is ready for a demand;
Handling Lien Reduction, negotiate medical specials, open Medicare and Medi-Cal claims;
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Preparing demands; and
Negotiating Settlement with attorney's supervision

Qualifications and Skills

Must have the knowledge AND be able to handle file from beginning to end;
Make initial report and open claims with insurance companies;
Excellent writing and oral skills- ability to write without spelling and grammatical errors;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word- Out Look- Excel....) and Adobe Pro DC is a MUST since we are a paperless office;
Being able to handle more than 150 pre-lit cases from intake through demand
Must have the ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload;
Spanish speaker is a plus;
Can type at least 50 wpm
Great Customer Service, being able to monitor e-mails in real time and able to follow the office policy as to the task and notes by meeting the deadlines

$24-$40 per hour depending on experience, bonus, health benefits, paid vacation, sick days, a friendly and family-oriented environment, raises for good performance, and room for growth
