BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR — LUXURY INTERIOR DESIGN

ABOUT KRISTA + HOME

Krista + Home is an award-winning luxury interior design studio based in Palm Beach Gardens. Led by nationally recognized designer Krista Watterworth Alterman, we create sophisticated, highly personalized residences for discerning homeowners, developers, and real estate professionals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an accomplished, relationship-driven Business Development Director with interior design related experience to expand our presence throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida markets.

This is a revenue-generating position for someone who understands how to build trusted relationships within the luxury residential ecosystem. The successful candidate will develop new business through architects, custom homebuilders, real estate professionals, developers, wealth advisors, family offices, and other trusted sources serving high-net-worth clients.

The ideal candidate is polished, entrepreneurial, persistent, and comfortable representing a premium brand in sophisticated professional and social settings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a strategic business-development plan focused on high-value residential design projects.
Build relationships with luxury real estate brokers, architects, custom builders, developers, wealth advisors, family offices, and other referral partners.
Identify and qualify prospective clients, projects, and strategic partnerships.
Represent Krista + Home at industry events, professional gatherings, private events, and community functions.
Conduct thoughtful outreach and follow-up with prospective clients and referral sources.
Maintain an active and organized pipeline within the company’s CRM.
Coordinate introductory meetings, studio presentations, and initial project discussions.
Work closely with Krista and the senior leadership team to develop proposals and convert qualified opportunities into signed engagements.
Ensure a smooth transition from business development to the design and project-management teams.
Track activities, opportunities, conversion rates, projected revenue, and results.
Help strengthen the firm’s visibility and reputation within the luxury residential market.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least five years of successful business-development, sales, or relationship-management experience.
Established relationships within luxury real estate, interior design, architecture, residential construction, home furnishings, hospitality, private banking, wealth management, or a related field are strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to originate and close high-value, relationship-driven business.
Strong understanding of the expectations and discretion required when working with affluent and high-net-worth clients.
Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and disciplined about prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline management.
Comfortable using CRM and standard business-productivity platforms.
Available to attend occasional evening events and travel throughout South Florida.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Krista + Home offers a competitive base salary, meaningful performance-based commission, and a benefits package appropriate to the position. Final compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, relationships, and demonstrated ability to generate new business.
