Position Summary
The Endpoint Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, support and monitoring of client endpoint devices and management systems, including devices running Windows, and limited devices using iOS, macOS, and Android. The Endpoint Administrator will also work with the Desktop team to ensure endpoint deployment is compliant and efficient for both users and techs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Implement and design endpoint solutions and configurations within Intune for efficient deployment, management, security, access, updates of endpoints on various operating systems, platforms, and device types.
- Work with staff to create, design, document, and analyze solutions for routine operations on endpoints with focus on minimal workflow disruption and efficient use of resources on systems.
- Research and recommend equipment, hardware, and software solutions related to endpoint devices.
- Resolve user’s hardware and software issues, including training users on basic operations for the MorseLife systems.
- Maintain and manage the print management services with Papercuts.
- Package and distribute software applications via scripting through PowerShell or other MDM related tools.
- Responsible for day-to-day endpoint management and updates to be consistent with all IT related policies and procedures.
- Document issues and solutions in the Help Desk ticketing system to maintain records of support requests and resolutions.
- Support the implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software. Also work with vendors for procurement of hardware and software as requested by the users.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT service delivery processes and improve user experience.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science, or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 4+ years of work experience in information technology.
- Mastered experience with Windows and limited familiarity with iOS, macOS, and Android operating systems.
- Strong Experience with Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and a Unified Endpoint Management solution (Microsoft Intune preferred).
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting with working knowledge of Microsoft security models and features.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- An ability to learn new skills quickly and be able to adequately apply those skills or train others in those skills effectively and perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to assist and work effectively with all staff and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Experience working with or in the healthcare industry preferred.
