The Center's PharmaSea LLC is a retail oncology Specialty Pharmacy dedicated to providing superior service to patients with cancer and blood disorders. Our team comprises experienced oncology pharmacists and pharmacy technicians committed to delivering compassionate care in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Florida.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at The Centers PharmaSea In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients, contributing to their overall treatment plans and enhancing their quality of care. Hours are flexible providing intermittent coverage throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Application Skills:

Expected to have high mathematical skills.
Expected to be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Expected to be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Expected to demonstrate knowledge of drug information sources.
Expected to have knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in the practice of pharmacy as defined in the “Practice of the Profession of Pharmacy” in compliance with federal and state statutes.

Quality of Work:

Expected to be responsible for the safe, accurate and economical use of drugs in patients through the application of specialized clinical skills, knowledge and functions resulting in positive patient outcomes.
Expected to be responsible for performing medication distributive functions in accordance with federal and state laws and departmental policies and procedures.
Expected to assume responsibility for professional growth and accountability.

Approach to Work:

Expected to recognize the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and accept strengths and limitations in others.
Expected to exhibit adaptability, flexibility, self control and maturity in work and behavior.
Expected to exhibit calm responsiveness to emergency or stressful situations.
