Pro Chiropractic is seeking an exceptional Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join our growing team.
This position is essential to delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating insurance benefits, medical billing, claims management, and patient financial communication.

Responsibilities
- Insurance & Billing
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements
- Obtain prior authorizations when necessary
- Submit electronic insurance claims accurately and efficiently
- Review and process medical claims utilizing CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Monitor claims and resolve denials, delays, and billing discrepancies
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid claims and appealsReview Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and accurately post insurance payments
- Maintain accurate patient account balances
- Coordinate patient payment arrangements and financial policies
- Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Communicate professionally with patients regarding insurance coverage, billing questions, and account balances
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Assist with improving billing workflows and office systems to maximize efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous medical insurance billing experience required
- Experience with chiropractic billing is highly valued
- Knowledge of commercial insurance, workers' compensation, and personal injury billing is preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, claims processing, and medical billing procedures
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills and a desire for continuous improvement
