Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Legal Support

Facilitate and attend Estate Planning signings as either notary or witness as requested.
File documents with appropriate courts and legal/government agencies.
Prepare binders for hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations as requested.
Stay informed about legal updates, including changes in laws and regulations.
Obtain and act as a notary public for relevant documentation.
Proactively collect outstanding client payments.

Administrative Duties

Maintain a neat and clean front/reception area in the office.
Answer phones as needed.
Cheerfully greet clients upon arrival to office and effectively assist or direct them.
Prepare conference rooms for any and all mediations, arbitrations, etc.
Review, scan, and distribute all incoming mail and legal documents.
Maintain efficient organization of digital and physical files.
Write checks, manage payments, and document financial transactions appropriately as needed for office.
Communicate regularly with Clerk and Recorder office and District Court Clerks.

Team Engagement and Culture

Become an active participant in the TEAM-me environment, contributing ideas and supporting peers.
Engage in constructive conflict and solution-based communication.
Present proactive solutions in response to evolving client and firm needs.
Mentor others and seek mentorship opportunities within the firm.
Collaborate on tasks assigned by any team member at Silverman Law Office.
